I haven't been here for a while... I wanted to see how this place is leaning nowadays.

I started out with David DeAngelo by accident before I even knew about all the PUA stuff floating around the internet.
His intellectual outlook and his philosophy was so close to mine that I immediately wanted to know more about his stuff.
He is a great way to get into the seduction theories. It also affirmed much of my own thoughts which needed some comfirmation from outside sources. He uses scientific sources and never uses any sort of religious paradigm. Much of his stuff combines the teachings of lots of different guru's.
From time to time he is sort of a dilettante though and to cerebral (like his advanced series). For instance his friend 'doc' (doctor paul) is a pretentious know-it-all with no intellectual scrutiny

I just recently found this site and Pook's book. I really like Pook's stuff thus far but haven't gone in to deep yet.
Ross Jeffries I will never use. It makes getting dates a proffesion, it makes it work, it is manipulative. Most importantly it does not make you become a better man, more like the opposite.
Mystery is to shallow. Sort of a one trick pony. I'm sure his techniques work, but I can't imagine they would make me fulfilled.

Well, I've learned from the posts here. My first encounter with acquisition and perusal of seduction knowledge came from Swinggcat's audios, which covered quite a bit of topics and "tools" to incorporate into your interactions with women, namely push/pull. He lies, most successful PUA paint a Huge lie in order to bang the woman, because most women, especially Hollywood California women, where most of these guys live and operate, are gullible for the clandestine (oh I'm an everyman, travel to Europe all the time etc.) picture about yourself. In the Deep South where most of these gals are raised on the Bible, in the Bible Belt environment, I believe that many of these tools might not work as well as they would on the airhead california girl. So I think that when considering a source for your seduction technique, that you should either consider the source's versatility (meaning that the source can go into any town in any part of the world, adapt to the environment faced with, and pull & bang), or the source's specialty: a particular demographic, geographic, or age group, no matter the venue. Many girls in different places have different skepticisms and tendencies that you have to be acutely attuned to as a PUA.

I fell into the seduction world about 3 1/2 - 4 years ago when it was still surrepticious and a private club. I started by reading the FastSeduction forums then moved onto some early Deangelo work. His beginning work is ok. I then moved onto the Mystery Method forums which I found to be a bunch of LOST boys.

Then I found SoSuave and got to talking with Rollo, Joekerr, STR8UP, my boy 'DISH, and a few other brothers and haven't left.

Now I walk my own path.

juggler is pretty good. mystery is good also.... right now, i use my own techniques shaped around the books on strategy and seduction such as robert greenes the art of seduction.

Most of my inner-game/troubleshooting stuff comes from TD. When I'm in-field, I follow Vin Dicarlo plus some of the other Natural game guys (Juggler, Dimitri, etc).

I could never get down Mystery Method or SS. I feel alienated from the interaction when I try to run either of these

I started off looking for seduction tips etc but soon came to realise I was missing the bigger picture and need to concentrate on myself firstly (inner game). I enjoy posts by Interceptor and others.

And of course being a JKD guy, Bruce Lee's teachings/writings and the basis of his teachings form Taoism and Zen are at my core.

And of course my buddies Karma Sutra, Rolo, Victory Unlimited, Colossus, Kontroller, Reset, RedPill, Guru, Evolution, Humanist, Wolf,and the ladies, Lovely Lady, Penkitten, and Iqqi. To tell you the truth a lot of you guys have posted something pretty relevant and inspiring, and when you share your personal experiences, they are always a learing experience. And I learn too whenever I share some insight with you guys as well. I may be a mentor, but I'll never stop being a student. Never.

Honestly, some things I read by Interceptor made an impact on me and I could call him one of the gurus.

Also, whoever wrote about sexuality/states of mind/energy: Gunwich, poster named (if memory serves me right) dark light, and Player Supreme. These just come to the top of my memory bank.

Back to you Interceptor, I'm a little... UNpleasantly surprised by who you listed: DD and mystery to be specific. Dude, WHY? You said "inner game" and "masculine realization". Great, that's what I'm going towards also! But what do these two parrots have to do with either of those concepts?
Their material is aimed at uber-geeks, people with no social intelligence, or people with chronically low testosterone levels. Have you seen their videos, and noticed the "contingent" of the audience (each of them gives up thousands to the "gurus"). I've seen them, it's a sad sight.

David Deangleo put out two very good products, Deep Inner Game and On Being a Man, that's why.

Mystery because he put together an easy to follow Attraction model and introduced the early idea that there are Steps to be taken for a successful interaction, and eventual seduction.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. And these contributions are to be recognized.
I think DD's and Mystery's other stuff is great for people who need it.
DD gives good dating advice, adn MM gives good outlines and routines for guys who lack personality and inner game. They do a service for guys who need it.
Is it what I'm interested in now? No.
Like I said I'm an Inner Game guy, masculine lifestyle and realization guy too.
But they did offer up things that have influenced me as well.

Namely ,the two DVDs Deangelo released, Deep Inner Game, and On Being a Man, and Mystery's Attraction/Seduction model that is scientifically based.

Let me expand my circle of those who've shaped the man who is KarmaSutra:

We have Victory Unlimited with his suit of armor forged by self acknowledgement and awareness of one's purpose. Interceptor who wields the sword of true masculine energy and the attainment of one's personal best. Joekerr, who's pen writes words hard as steel. STR8UP and his wisdom into the feminine psyche and thier warnings. KontrollerX who finds that truth is something we must dig and claw our way to find. Rollo Tomassi who brandishes the shield of motivation and reflects the wiles of those who would surrepticiously abandon the truth for thier own hidden agendas.

And Skip, aka Ultimate Player and every other name he's been known who bends the rules for the benefit of his brother.

There are many more and you all know who you are but these brothers in particular have given me a chance to rebirth myself and see the world in a new and realized truth.

Sosuave has left a mark in mind...it has helped and better than post it has let me look back in the first years of this place when their was not that much material and thats what showed....that if your keen on points or just to weak and whack....now adays its a competion who makes more posts....

Story telling is good, because it shows your creative side. And you can express your values and viewpoints.The way you view the world, and your description of it.
Women like expressiveness and creativity.
This is how you stimulate them both emotionally and intellectually.Without touching them.

And this is how she can start getting closer to you in trust and admration, ultimately feeling desire for you sexually.
Why?
Because you stimulate her in ways other men don't.
Understand?
This is how women cant start tom connect to you, and feel comfortable in doing it.

This is why it is so important to learn how to express your deepest identity and values, at your core.

You shouldnt have to HIDE yourSELF from women.
