Hair alone is not a going to make you a well faceted man of self sufficiency with money in the bank. The advantage of good hair starts to depreciate quickly when you get out of school.
Men weren’t built to fail, it’s not in our dna. Money doesn’t usually fall into your lap. It’s typically more akin to points accrued in the game of life. While not everything, for sure, it’s preferential for one’s esteem to feel as though they have accomplished something and are living life the way they should. Benefits of money, among other reasons, can also buy things that help improve your life further.
However, conversely, ‘heavy wears the crown,’ as they say. There’s a certain stench of its own that comes with not handling personal success the right way. In other words, I may be having a pretty good year so far in the office, sure, and maybe I did lift a lot of weight yesterday too, good for me, be proud of that. However I assure you, there are multiple hedge fund managers making multiples of what I am going to do this year within distance of me and they’re keeping their heads down on their own program.
With that said, what to make of my being the only man on the beach this week while those guys are at the office and their women are going out of their way asking me if it’s safe to go in? Yin and yang.
You don’t have to be the biggest guy in the gym or the biggest wallet in the room. You need these things for yourself. The energy of unquestioned confidence emanates out of you organically from these things and acts like gravity, pulling what you want in as a result of your energy you are putting out.
Life is about balance.
I’m losing some hair on the back of my head. I’m kicking the idea around of dealing with it. It’s a whole process so I’m vein enough to both consider and reject the idea given the work involved.
