Since there are no political threads allowed anywhere on the site because they usually get out of hand and everyone starts flaming each other(it is the reason isnt it?), why not just make a political "anything else" sub-forum where people can come and b1tch at each other all they want?
It will make mods' lives easier cause they wont have to close numerous threads, members will have a place to discuss politics, and it wont bother anyone who doesnt want to participate.

Just a thought. :cool:

Diablo: Sure there are other sites,but anything else forum here is full of inane threads. I bet lot of people stop coming to these forums just because nothing worthwhile is going on.

That makes sense. I forgot that there are no ad banners on this site. Then yeah, it makes no sense to allow political threads cost-wise.

But eventually this site will grow to few dozen thousand members,so it wont be free either way :(

The site, from my understanding, stabelizes and pays for itself through the Book and adds on the front page[they arn't big flashy pop-ups, but in the tips you'll find one every now and then advertising David DeAngelo or someone.]

Just be happy everything is dating related and we don't have those stupid VOTE BUSH and VOTE KERRY.pop-ups.

If you are intrested in politics check out http://fundrace.org/ It tells you who donated in your area or wherever by adress or zipcode... pretty neat.

Anyway I do think this can be locked?
