alright, this isn't exactly about don juan stuff, but I have no other place to turn for advice.
I am in a long distance relationship with a girl who lives about 2 hours away from me. We get to see each other about once a week, and hopefully by the end of this next school year my family and I will be moving up closer to her.
but now to the point. I don't know if its me worrying, or what, but I need peoples opinions on my situation. We talk a lot online, and also on the phone, but the problem is her father has nothing like free long distance, or anything like that, and so the long distance phone calls are racking up her phone bill. (or so her dad says). Now, tonight, she told me that we should limit ourselves to how much we talk on the phone, and instead talk online more. I wasn't to happy to hear this because I'm worried that when we talk online, it will become less "real" and that might lead to us breaking up. She seems to think its not a problem at all and that since she knows "she has me and I have her" we will be fine.
What i didn't like even more, was the time she wants to limit us to on the phone. Right now we talk about every night, for an hour or a couple hours. MAYBE once in a while a little less then that. But NOW she wants to (starting today) cut it down to where we talk every other day on the phone, for about 10-15 minutes! So like monday, wednesday, friday, and who knows what we will do on the weekends.
WTF?! she says we need to do it, otherwise her dad will say she can never talk to me on the phone again since it cost so much. But to me that seems like a HUGE extreme to cut down on. I'm afraid she might be wanting to break up with me and trying to get rid of me slowly, but she says she loves me and will sometimes say the sweetest things that shows she does. but i'm just like worried. Is cutting down that much on talking on the phone going to hurt our relationship? I need some help.
