Does it ever end? I realize that a woman's commitment to a man is mostly based on interest level. In that regard, so is a man's commitment to a woman. But sometimes I just want to tell my gf "yes I fckin like you!"

Admittedly I tend to drift in and out of conversations with people, but yesterday I tried listening to my gf. And I noticed a pattern - she asked so many questions that if you translate the womaneese she's basically asking "do you like me?", "how much do you like me?"

Yes questions like these are indicators of interest. But does a relationship ever progress beyond that without growing stale? It seems rather childish after a while to obsessively gauge the interest of your partner. Hopefully I haven't over exaggerated my gf's actions. Yes my gf is insecure, but not anymore than any other girl I've dated. It seems all women get stuck in this loop of "how much do you like me right now?"

And maybe this is a whole other topic of discussion but isn't interest level a really weak foundation to build a relationship on? Things like trust and accountability kind of go out the window when they don't like you anymore, even just for a moment. When I look at it like this, it makes me realize that as hard as we try, we're still playing by women's rules aren't we?

I have never progressed beyond this point with women. As bad as it sounds, as soon as they realized I really did like them and even loved them in some cases, they got sick of me. Then I got sick of their bad behaviour and after a few months apart I would suddenly look very good to them. Women in my age range (20-25) are little children, they do not possess the emotional maturity of men. This will sounds misogynistic, but it's a reality I've come to accept.

I hope it's different when they're 30-35, but I am not counting on it.

what i found out personally is NEVER EVER LET THEM KNOW YOU LIKE THEM. i have seen girls asking guys this qs and if the guys said yes, they straight away lost interest! All they want is the ego boost, trust me. Your job is to let them wonder whether you like them or not.

once, i told a girl i liked her indirectly by holding her hands, for the next few months, she ceased contacts with me. I totally gave up on her. after a few months, she contacted me again saying we should be together. But by the time, my game has already slightly improved and lost all interests in her. I told her we should be friends instead.

Her reaction? Bombarded me with txt msgs trying to convince me to be with her, buying me presents, while I showed indifference to her, not because Im toying with her feelings but because I have lost interest.

God....what the hell.....they are like kids not knowing what they want. kinda hated this fact.

to be honest, the only people who can asnwer this are those who have gone beyond this point.

my longest relationship is 1 year and a few months. and from my experience, i really have no idea what its going to be like at the 2 year mark. 3 year etc.
