It's a bit confusing situation for me so I am asking for a little help. I've met this girl about a month ago and by her actions and behaviour I saw she is into me. The feeling was mutual so after a few times when we saw each other (in some NGO where we are both activists once a week) and it was obvious that we are into each other I asked her out. We went out last week and all was fine (one thing though, she told me that I my body language, the way I talk, walk and tease her is like in one guy she was with...It puzzled me that she said that to me, but I just smiled and left her without a reaction). Two days later I went with my best female friend for a beer to a place where she was working. After one situation my friend told me that she think she likes me, that she has nice simpathy for me but is not sure how strong her feelings are for me. Then, yesterday at the meeting in that NGO, she was like I was not existing and when I asked her out today she told me she has much work to do and is not sure when she will be free. My reply was that if she really want to see me she will find time like the last week, wished her luck with her thing and left it there... I am not going to initiate any contact from now on because that could be contraproductive as I am not sure what's going on... Any suggestion is welcomed. Thank you in advance :).

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Her Interest Level in you dropped, that much is certain. That's all I can really garner from your short post.

The thing is, first time when I asked her out she told me she is very busy and is not sure about her free time. A few days later when we saw each other she said to call her if I am free for a coffee which I did and we agreed to see in a few days (she is very socially active and I know she is having a lot of things on her mind, one of those is that she is ending her studies these days) which we did and it went well...or was it? We were talking and out of nowhere she said to me:"This is probably going to sound very stupid, but...I was observing you and realized that you remind me a lot of a guy I was having a relationship with. Not the look (except the colour of the eyes), but your body language, the way you speak, joke around and tease, I just cannot believe it." We were flirting with each other and there was obvious chemistry (and the last Friday my best female friend told me that she thinks she likes me and then she was like affraid to look or talk to me) until we saw each other yesterday and to be honest, that puzzled me. I reacted like she was and ended up talking to her friend instead of her.

Presuming that her interest level dropped, is there anything I could do, or just to play along and walk away?

Number 1, understand that you have no chance with her. Upon reading your reply, she never had interest in you to begin with. Number 2, maybe you could practice your game on her, seeing how you know what the outcome is. Gauge her body language, etc.

Well, I was paying attention to her body language, the way she was using every chance to touch me or to be next to me, the way she was looking at me and the way she was flirting with me and showing interest in me and my life. My life is a mess in the last couple of years (stepfather died, brother hooked on heroin for years, I am not allowed to work in my country so I am working in Siberia) to the point where I touched the bottom two months ago. Upon deciding to wake up and leave that **** behind me I changed my mindset. I don't need and don't want drama in my life anymore. I would not go after her in case I did not sense the chemistry and likening, if you know what I mean...
