"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Ok my problem, I'm recently divorced and my plates are few and far between lol, anyway is the same concept as in having a busy life and not getting to involved the same as plate spinning until more plates come along.
I'm on dating websites and they do come through but rather slowly, sometimes due to time, me not available and money.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'm not sure if you were asking a question or just a short vent?

Sounded like ...
You're frustrated because you're recently divorced, watching your cash flow right now, not having much luck online and you're too busy to try harder.

Perhaps given all these challenges, if you want to meet women but not have to shell out too much, you would consider interest groups?

Such as ... hiking clubs, photographic clubs, theater clubs ... whatever club piques your interest or maybe dance classes.

For example, I joined a hiking club a couple years ago, mostly to help out a friend that was ill and needed exercise. I was shocked at the number of hungry single women that were going to these things. It was such a relaxed atmosphere. I was offered two phone numbers from "doable" women. All it cost me was a bottle of water.

You can also do what I'm doing now and it's cost me nothing.

I've recently put myself out there (ever since I moved to a new location) to do a lot of volunteer work whenever I have the chance. It's been an excellent starting point not only to meet women, but for networking as well. AND you are helping a good cause to boot. I get more satisfaction from that than anything else.

The other thing I did was find a website dedicated to people meeting up depending on their area and just getting to know each other in a group setting. It's helped build confidence and I have met some real decent people through it as well as I've gotten to know the area a little better.

There ARE other options out there. I'd rather use online dating as a complement to everything else.

I'm doing a bag pack for charity tomorrow to raise money for a 2 year old girl that is suffering with cancer, the last time was very busy for 2 hours but when I finish tomorrow ,I may go and shake a collection tin for an hour or 2 which will be a bit of a slower pace .95% of the volunteers are women although this is not the reason I volunteered I just wanted to help out.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

That's all she needs to know.
