"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

ok to start off im at one of my fraternity brothers houses one night. He was having a big ass party. Ok, im coming out of the bathroom, and these three chicks are waiting to use it. i come out and this hb8 says "you pu$$y a$$ bytch." I was like wtf!!!!! Then she says "you left the toilet seat up!" I said "This is a mans house wtf do you expect?" When im drunk its hard to piss me off. I was pretty drunk but i was honestly ready to push her down the stairs. After she said that i said "**** you, bytch"!!! Then her and her friends go into the bathroom. I go downstairs and talk to my brothers and tell them what she said. They were pretty pissed and pretty much treated her like shyt the rest of the night. She kept coming up later in the night and apologizing, and i didnt say anything to her, looked at her like she was stupid. Then the 5th time when she apologized that night i told her to "**** off". Then me and my brothers left.

Last night, a week later i see her again at a party and she tries to be all nice and say "hey whats up". I just looked at her like she was crazy. Then she says "he doesnt like me" to my brother. Then i told her to explain why i dont like her and "he said that was ****ed up to say" and said he didnt blame me for being pissed at her. Later that night she came to the front door of the frat house and expected me to let her in, she saw me, i acted like i was freezing since it was 20 degrees out and walked away. 20 seconds later a brother let her in. And she said "that was messed up", she laughed about it.

I'm not really holding a grudge, since im pretty easy-going. As far as im concerned im over it. But i wouldnt mind bangin her, i mean she is a hb8. And shes gonna be comin over to the house a lot, cuz one of her soroity sisters dates a brother of mine and shes always hangin around. I've busted on her the times when shes tried to talk to me. I mean that's what most of the people reccomend when tryin to get with a girl. Been C&F multiple times when shes been around and tried to say hi or apologize.

I mean im not tryin to get into a relationship, since im not really into relationships in this point of my life and i dont get attached. Just a ONS. So how would you guys go about this?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It seemed like you held a grudge... You already told her what she did wrong. Take mental note so you can shlt on her if she pulls anything like that again. But move forward. Go talk to her, let her in the house.... How else are you gonna hook up?

let me come real with it though... This girl has disrespected you and you're still interested? Let her be the last girl you hookup with.

Well... she was nasty to you... you put her in her place and now she is trying to get into your good books.

What you do now is start letting her redeem herself. Actually tell her this. Start telling her how she can make things up to you, you can probably be a jerk here: get my dinner... rub my back... blow me in the foyer of the frat house... whatever you want. It doesn't seem to me that she is a very classy girl, you may as well try to get everything out of her.

haha, great idea Cremasta. Make her work for it.

Great job putting that ***** in her place Lizard. It amazes me how some of these girls think they can go around 'trying' guys like that. Society has pumped their egos up to the point that they think they're Queens or something. Tell her if she goes out and makes Daddy some money, you might let her back in to your good graces.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
