I've been consistently going to the gym 5-6 days a week for 2 years now. Not just one, but dozens. From 24 hour fitness and YMCA all over California/Nevada, to the Gyms in Las Vegas Athletic club in, well, Las Vegas. I'm 25 years old, tip top shape, vascular and I've also noticed that my comfort level in picking up women is much more natural these days (coffee shops, parties, clubs, gym etc.). Let me tell you what I've done specifically at the gym...
Essential Elements to Success. Get noticed:
1. Must be in GREAT SHAPE: To pick up that hot woman it is almost always vital to be good looking. I'm only 5'8'', but I'm confident to say women have established strong eye contact with me because of my aura, and my "X-Frame" body. The best way to stand out at the gym is to be on your "A" game. Have the muscles to back it up, clean cut hair, and the correct sportswear.
2. Get noticed by having aggressive workouts: SHOW OFF UNIQUE/AGGRESSIVE WORKOUTS! My most favorite drills are Plyometric workouts. By inducing high jumps cleanly at high speeds everyone in the gym will notice you. While everyone else is doing the same old curls, benches and squats, your over at the corner looking like a pro-star athlete and women love athletes. In addition, Plyometrics is a "HIIT" (high intense interval traning) which is actually a GREAT way to get a six pack.
3. Establishing eye contact at specific times: Establishing eye contact is a no-brainer. However, you MUST time your eye contact while you think she is looking at you. You want to catch her staring at you while your doing your work outs, project a "manly expression". The expression doesn't have to be crazy looking, just look focused and powerful. When you stare at her, keep it short, and look away. Never stare or look at a women while your standing around idle. When you're idle, stare at yourself in the mirror and only yourself.
4.DO NOT APPROACH ON THE FIRST EYE CONTACT Women are constantly being picked up at the gym by douche bags, tools, and overly buff people. You need to time your approach and establish the fact that she desires YOU. Once you've established that you've caught her staring at you more than 2-5 times feel free to go up to her.
The approach: One of the most hardest things to do is to approach, but just like the Nike slogan says "Just do it". And when you go up to her, don't act like you're oblivious that she's interested in you. If you caught her looking at you at LEAST 2-3 times, she's interested to know who you are. Easiest thing to do is to introduce yourself. EASIEST! "Hi *pause* I'm *name*... Bring up a topic that's relative to your surroundings (day, time, occasion, trainers, funny looking people etc) Example: I see a girl working out on a friday night I'll ask her... "Why aren't you partying like everyone else?!"... After establishing rapport, give a genuine interest in her and ask her if you can get to know her a bit better...
Final Thoughts
Picking up a girl at the gym may not be so easy. It took me two years to figure this out because not only did I have to work on approaching women, I also had to get in shape and build muscle and cardio. Lately I've gotten a lot of numbers, f-closed, as well as made some great female friends. I hope this helps you.
