As of today, I am officially in my late forties. Here I am after 7+ months at the gym. I cut down on bread and dairy and started eating tons of organic berries now that I got a smoothie machine (Ninja 1000 watt).

Age 47.0
6'5"
221lb
33 inch waist.

Many of you saw my post from one month ago.

I appreciate the constructive criticism.

I think you would enjoy working with kettlebells. Good for cardio and combined conditioning of hips, glutes, hamstrings, lats, abs, shoulders, pecs and pretty economical timewise.

whats your calorie intake?

My advice would be sticking to fairly heavy compound movements and not to worry about trying to get certain parts bigger yet. The priority for me would be getting rid of the belly fat and building your core muscle groups. Yes your arms could be bigger but they can wait.

Aim to be feeling sick by the end of your workout. Think squats, deadlifts, clean and press etc. Only eat calorie dense meals before and immediately after workout. Then for the rest of the day keep your calories low and get them only from protein and veg and or pulses. If you don't feel that tired after a workout then throw in some hiit at the end until you feel like you want to die. Burpees are good for this.

I am in that "mid to VERY late 40s" range lol. In fact very close to 50. I lift 5 days a week and eat well.

This was me below yesterday (blue swim trunks) and a month ago or so.

Big Neil you are about my age so you should get on my regiment. I would also change your lifting program. I can help you with that. You are getting into "skinny fat" territory. Good job on your weight loss though

I owe it mainly to as I said, working out and a good diet, but a huge part of it is Vitamin C and lysine/proline. I started on a heavy regiment of it about 5 years ago. My twin brother had a heart attack with 3 stents put in due to his blockages. He was 160 pounds, an athlete, didnt smoke. All genetics with the heart issues. He was put on all of the usual statins and drugs and felt horrible. In fact after his year the one arterial blockage without a stent grew by 25%. So he found this high vit C and lysine regiment invented by Nobel prize winner Dr. Pauling. Up to 20 grams a day of vitamin C, and 8 grams of lysine and 5 of proline. Within days he started feeling better and within a year his blockages were about gone. As in disappeared. No drug can do that. Today he is fit, healthy, and happy.

So I got on the high regiment and you can see the results. My energy is way up. My skin for my age is great. I used to get sick easily 3-4 times a year and have not been sick in the 5 years since I started this. Not one day. In addition, taking up to 10-15 grams a day will burn about 33% more fat than not taking it due to its anti oxidant qualities.

Basically, humans are one of only 3 animals in the world that dont make any vit C in our bodies. 99.99999999% of all other animals do. We lost the ability 1000s of years ago. Its an enzyme made in the liver actually. So because we dont make it, we need to ingest it. We normally get enough to counteract the effects of short term scurvy, but not enough to counteract the effects of long term scurvy. That leads to inflammation in our arteries, our cells, skin and immunity issues, etc due to collagen issues. So for example with our heart, when it beats we get little stress fractures in our arteries and our body sends lipo protein to fix those. But because we lack vit C and not enough lysine, out arteries (which are made of collagen) are very weak and our body sends the wrong things to heal those arterial fractures. That leads to blockages and the heart attacks. This is why wild animals, including meat eaters with high cholesterol, that do make vit C in their bodies, don't die of things like heart disease and cancer like people do. Many animals make 8-12 grams a day in their bodies or more. Humans are lucky to ingest 100 mgs a day, if that.

That first one has some slight touch ups as far as the background and the tint, along with the shine on my abs. I own a fitness co as I said and am doing some photo shoots for my company, so they gave me this as an example. But I can assure you the physique is all me.

Nice physique but a couple of things if you don't mind me adding. Work on your shoulders for one. Two, try to clean up that back with the acne. Women like to stroke and massage a mans back and that will turn a woman off super quick. And three....trim that ear hair. :) Cmon mannnnnnnnnnnn. That's a jungle in there. :)

I can't get rid of the acne, it's there till I'm done developing. And I said I just had a haircut lmao. I'm not hairy AT ALL hahahaha

You need to get off the test/tren mate...

Any gains you make are not worth what's coming out of your back. Someone your age has no need to be on gear.

Eat like a horse, exercise and be consistent and you will make gains. Most guys I see on steroids who are in their teens or twenties are just straight up lazy and lack the discipline to achieve slow consistent gains. They want it all now. Well nothing comes for free.

I swear to all of you guys I'm clean. I don't take anything except for some fish oil, a multivitamin, and glucosamine/chondroitin sup for joints. Everything I am is natty 100% despite my back. I just have bad acne for some reason.

And cordon, you can only see that bc it's so close to my ear. Those are just some gold hairs or smth, you don't notice it unless you look for it. I never noticed it until you pointed it out right now actually.
