Phone questions for the 'djbible' thumpers...

Is it ok to call a girl twice in a night?
If she said to call to get together?
If the IL is apparently high?

I'm just asking to see what others think, I'm going to do what I've been told so far, err on the side of not calling.

The phone is always crappy for me, so I try to use it very minimally. My take on your questions: don't call twice in the same night, don't call when she tells you to (you're a man afterall, not her lapdog), and if she has high IL it's probably because you DON'T make yourself so available. Calling her too often would change that.

Use the phone to setup dates and that's it.

calling twice means your desperate. If you made an effort to call her and left a message telling her to call you when she recieves the message then the ball is in her court.

You need to act like your life is so much fun that you don't care whether she calls or not...it's her loss on all the fun your capable of having or bringing to the table.

if she's that interested it probably won't make a difference. As for leaving messages, try this one:

"... call me back at exactly 8:27. Talk to ya then"

Or use any other random time. If they call a minute early, say:

"You're early. Call back in one minute" or something to that matter, and hang up.

I can't remember who it was on this site that gave me that idea. But just screw around with them. I've done this for a while and I have always been called back give it a try

The call was to setup a date actually, but there was no answering machine to leave a message on (I always hang up on the fifth ring).

I had a feeling that it wouldnt be good to call twice in the same day, I just wanted some confirmation on that. Thanks guys.

By the way, I really like the sound of the "call me at 7:29" thing... will try it sometime. I'm pretty sure it is in the bible or David Dangelo stuff.
