Looked up the Peter Pan Syndrome a little bit more and it is pretty much women waking up from dating losers. The lifestyle of these losers gives them an advantage over guys actually pursuing something because they are able to have more fun and more confidence which attracts women at that age.

I'm working towards my dreams/goal and right now I have next to nothing. If a women wants to be with me through the get nothing period, or the process that's fine shows me she might not be as inclined to a material mindset or she just has no options

I imagine more men would be willing to do their part if women were also stepping up and doing their part. Unfortunately, doing what this guy suggests is most likely to get you punished and heavily penalized for your efforts. Avoiding that isn't being a boy, it's being smart.
