Hey I've got a problem in which I sweat excessively when I shouldn't. Light physical activity on a cold day for like 30 minutes will have me dripping with sweat while everyone else is completely dry, it's embarrassing. I can't wear any type of sweatshirt unless the weather is freezing cold or I'll sweat buckets. Even after gym class, I take a cold shower and then stand in front of the fan to get even cooler but still find myself sweating during the next hour. Has anyone else ever had this problem before and if so what helped?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It's called hyperhidrosis. There are two kinds. Primary and secondary. Primary is over active sweat glands and is nothing to worry about. Secondary hyperhidrosis is caused by a separate medical condition. Go see your doctor!

I'm in pretty good shape with good muscle tone so I don't think that's the cause. I've heard of hyperhidrosis before and I've asked my mom about it but she just tells me how everyone sweats during physical activity and it's normal. I try to explain how it's not normal when I'm dripping and everyone else is completely dry, but that doesn't work. Is there any over the counter solution to this problem or does it have to be prescribed by a doctor to have any effect?

I really don't know much about hyperhidrosis. If you're finding that you're sweating for no reason than there's a problem. Unless your moms a doctor I would seriously go see your physician. There's nothing like piece of mind
