that they "think" that everyone can be a welfare bum or work for the state/feds, be in the military, do low-value work. 3/4 of the US population "works" (if they work at all, that is) at something that is of no real value. 1/4 of the population is carrying the other 3/4. One day, they will stop doing so and move to some other country and the US will collapse. The govt doesn't create value, so govt jobs are a drain on the producers, and yes, that includes the military and anyone making stuff for the military. It's all wasted. The rest of the world is riding on the US taxpayer, too. They get to not bother with a national defense, because we do it for them.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
