"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

hey i just came from a party. there were a lot of people who ive seen at past parties but i dont really KNOW, just a bunch of kids that go to the same parties. a lot of them are good friends however. i did have one real friend there so there was at least one person to hang out with. i noticed its kinda hard getting into everyones 'circle' so to speak. there are a lot of different conversations going on between friends and i didnt know where to fit in. there were a couple chick friends who i knew moderately well too, have hung out in groups with them before so it wasnt all bad. im a quiet guy to begin with...idk if that can really be changed can it? i dont tend to speak unless i have to, but then again, sometimes i can be loud and boisterous too, just depends who im with i guess.

i guess what im asking is..how do you make these situations more comfortable? i did have some positive results from conversations with a couple girls i havent talked to before. im not very good at having comfortable conversations with girls yet. i think i come across as nervous and i usualy dont know what to say and when i say it its often not smooth.

there was hb6 i was talking to a bunch. shes a friend of a friend but i just didnt find her the least bit attractive so i couldnt pracitce any number closing or anything. i considered using her as practice for further progress, but i just thought it would be a big pain in the ass if i wasnt attracted to her, especialy since she goes to the same parties as i.

side note: i was not drunk. i am refraining from drinking since im on a fairly strict diet...im trying to loose weight and stay healthy. it was hard when everyone was like "grab a beer" or "awww how come you arent drinking?"...i didnt really want to explain why. so i just said "yeah well..." and kinda trailed off.

anyway, thats the recap of the night. anyone who can relate to my situation lemme know man cause i definitely want to make some signifigant changes (hence the weight loss)..

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

welcome to my world
yeah, be outgoing regardless of whether you choose to drink or not.

second, i would recommend that if you know you're going to a party where you don't know many people, get there later than most. go at say 1-2am. this can be a risk because at this point most of the more attractive girls have been already taken, but then again, you can go amog if you're that good.

you don't even have to be that good. especially if you get there when you haven't had much to drink and they guy has, you'd be surprised how easy it is to steal a girl he's been gaming for a while. of course, like i said, there probably will only be like hb5s and hb6s left, but it depends. to be honest, last time i tried this, it was easy, but the girl wasn't so hot, she was like an hb5.

this guy was practically hung over her, and he was saying "you're so beautiful, let's go home and have some more drinks" i could tell she was getting sort of tired of him, so i was like "awww...look at that, so cute, you two should just get a room." and at that point she just came up to me, and it was on, lol. but i'm seriously not that good at doing that, so i prefer not to. your choice.

i occasionally go to parties where there's a lot of peeps and i barely know one or two of them.

besides just being social...try to get involved in whatever is going down. ie, games of beer pong, or card games, whatever...even if you're not drinking, you can still interact socially.

don't be afraid to just jump in on conversations and introduce yourself. talk to hot girls, and motion a guy to come over, and just make your own little group.

last thing, if you can, buy some beer to bring to the party. just something small, and it'll get you noticed and probably invited to more parties.

btw, though, i find parties are not so fun when you don't drink. clubs can be, but not parties for some reason.

it's an opportunity

Cool thing about this situation is that you can create a nice rep for yourself as a cool guy. Smile your ass off and throw yourself into it.
It also helps if the person that brought you is well-liked.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
