Just wondering what anyone here might think....
A friend gave me this wonderful idea, since just got laid off from my full time job and have been job searching a bit but only finding part time employment.
While I eventually hope to start a media business, I was wondering if I could start a part time general errands job* (e.g. pet walking, grocery delivery, etc), basically, anything other people may pay others do to (my day job hours are fairly flexible, so most times of day can be arranged). This small business doesn't have an intention of becoming a mega empire, it's partially for fun and partially for extra cash towards what I actually want to start (the media business, which hopefully will be huge).
Would you pay someone to walk the dog for you? Would someone pay someone else to buy groceries? Would someone pay another to clean their house?
Highly appreciate the advice!
*My skills are in marketing primarily but I haven't had too much luck convincing companies to buy the marketing service of a 21 year old
. I'm sure I'm good, and I could probably find some crazy crazy people, but oh well, maybe quick low skill jobs might actually sell more, faster. We'll see....
