I was talking to a girl today who I often have a passing flirt with and she flirts back.
Into the conversation she says"i was looking at this with ******,who I'm sort of seeing."
SORT OF SEEING.
Who here should be more worried.Me as the one trying to chat her up or the poor bugger shes sort of seeing.
Now have I just been told not to persue any further or is it a way to say I am seeing someone but he,s not exclusive.

...or maybe she didnt want to say flat out that she had a boyfriend, being scared you'd run away. She prefered to say it in a nicer, yet more ambiguous, way. This way you are not thinking "oh, she is taken" but instead wonder (the proof is that you are posting a question about it).

Why did she say it? Maybe she likes you, hence the flirting. So she doesnt wanna lose you by telling you she has a bf.

YET, if someday along the line you let her know that you wanna be exclusive with her but she's not ready, she will remind you that she once told you "she was seeing someone". Notice how she changed the words, to make it clear this time

I've found out who the "sort of" bloke is and what he's all about.She says he's nice.They constantly texting on the phone and he runs up her arse.But she frets if he doesnt constantly keep texing her and she seems happy with things.
She says she can phone him when shes ran out of money when shes out and he comes running to pay for her.
So maybe the nice soft lad wins this time but for once I think I'm glad.
