"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Man for some reason my parents are so strict. They weren't born from this country they form the carbiean and when I say their old school their old school. Like their gay cause I can't go anywhere like I've been only going to home, school, and school events which are gay. Like I only go to parties with invitations so if it's like a spur of the moment thing like my parents won't let me go. What should I do to let my parents less strict should I wait till I get a car and it'll be easy to say oh I'm going so and so and I don't need you for a ride since I have a car or should I do something about it now. What would you say to your parents to confront them. They won't even let me get a job. I am doing kind of bad in school. Come to think about it my parents are crazy. They won't let me date, hang out with friends, won't let me hang out pass 1 o clock with MY COUSINS, and always asking stupid ass questions. My father got mad when I started signing up for college questionares for more info and ask if a college in Washington or something sent me a scholarrship would I go ( Live in NY) I said yes and he said no way wtf. Like I hate being the ****in first child. Man had to rant a bit since I missed this celebration party for this game at school. Thanks for anyone who actually takes the time to read and listin thx in advance now off to my boring as life

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Stop complaining you lame pathetic child, organize your time and prove your responsibility and they'll let you go to parties. Don't call your parents gay... dispense with the insult 'gay' entirely, or I'll dislike you.

Well, first bring up those grades. You shouldn't be allowed to go out whereever you want if your grades aren't good. Once that is settled, along with anything else in your life that you should be doing that you aren't, then try talking to your parents, saying you need more freedom. If it doesn't work then either just wait until you get your license, or try getting another, more understanding adult to talk to them (relative, counselor, family friend, whatever).

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

you say they do not like you going to partys with out invitations, wow that must suck since 90% of of partys you do not get a formal invitation your freind just asks you to come along.

But did it never cross your mind that if an invitation is what your parents want to see, an invitiation is what they shall see!

come on use some creativity how hard is it to go on to microsoft publisher and write up a fake invitation as if you have been formaly invited, it will take you like 10 minutes, then just print it out and show your parents.

Sounds like you have to earn trust from them.

In any case, there is nothing you can do, you are 16. They control your life until you are 18. If i were you i'd use all my free time to excersize/bring my grades up.
