"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

My parent don't want me to do sports because it will "interfere" with my school work. I'm pretty sure I could handle both school and sports activities at school...I already have a 3.7 GPA and all my friends do sports and have similar grades. I don't know how (or if...) I can convince them to let me do a a sport. Could someone help me out?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

If your just going into high school next year (like I am) just sign up, and when they find out/you tell them say, "This is my test. If I can pull this off great for me and I haved prove I am responsible, if not, you were right, and I shan't defy thou again."

If your in high school then try and have your friends sign you up/get you the sign up information for a team outside of school, or you could sign up for a school team, and recite the above to your parents.

Sports can help you do better. Exercise will give you energy and put oxygen into your brain, and studies have shown that. If practice isn't everyday, then it shouldn't be a probelm. It is doubtful that you spend all of your waking hours outside of school doing school work, tell them you'll sacrifice some time spent doing video games or whatever.

If anything, maintaining an extracurricular discipline will only bolster your grades. You learn tremendously from sports, and the discipline will carry through to your schoolwork.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Hmm, all depends on the sport, being active is said to increase grades for kids, but then again these are kids that are in regular classes, not honors or AP.

I am in AP classes, 2 or 3 a year, and I found that Football, Wrestling and sometimes basketball, can be detrimental to your grades, becuase of the intense rigorous activities that cause you to be so tired you need more sleep. My GPA went from straight A's to 2 or 3 A's and 3 or 4 A's but then again I am taking much harder classes than middle school, and I know I could do better, but I have definiately tried to go to sleep at 9 or something after a rough f/b practice and tired to wake up at 5 to finish hw but wouldnt finish it in time. So it can be done but is very, very hard to keep your energy up with sports like those, especially the football and wrestling. Plus the games/meets are very hard because those will take up your whole night.
