A couple months ago I ordered a pair of shoes I thought I would like. Been wearing them a while and the left one chafes my ankle and the right one was causing my Achilles to hurt.

I can’t return them and get my money back, there’s actually nothing wrong with them, they just don’t fit.

So, I stubbornly kept wearing them and rationalizing to myself I’d break them in. Hell, I think I even started walking differently to fit into those damn shoes.

I was a little surprised at myself at how hard it was to throw those fvckers in the dumpster and get some new ones. For a little while there I even told myself they really weren’t all that uncomfortable after all. And, truth is, I think I actually believed it too!

Whew, good thing I had another pair to wear.

Yep, it’s always good to have some spare shoes.

And just think:

Wonder how much BETTER a guy would feel if he realized he could be JUST AS COMFORTABLE walking around in bare feet----maybe occasionally "wanting", but not "NEEDING' any shoes at all?

Wonder how even much more of an epiphany THAT revelation would be?:rockon:

They were damn fine looking shoes too.

I don’t think I can go barefoot yet after ditching those. I'm working on it.
