"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I have noticed many articles on here trying to define what it is to be a DJ. There are also articles on here about "effiminate, right-brained Metrosexual guys", with people commenting on the fact that anything right-brained or too intellectual is feminine. I have also read articles on here about how you have to be physically big, strong, tall, and good looking to really be successful with women.
I have recently read Pablo Picasso's biography and he could get more women than 99% of the guys here, even BEFORE he was famous. He was short and, from my judgement ugly. He was only 5'2" in height, yet he had no shortage of naked women to draw and paint pictures of in his youth or even when he was older. Even in his 60's he could pull in HB's. Of course by then he ws famous, but even when he ws an unknown broke artist he could have as many HB's as he wanted. How do all you DJ's who are saying you have to be an ultra-masculine bodybuilder or have the looks of Brad Pitt explain this?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

First of all, just because Picasso painted nudes does not mean anything sexual was going on or that he was sleeping with the models. Most of the time, the nude women are there for the sake of art and because it pays good money. Secondly, times have changed since then. Back in the Renaissance, all the painters, architects, sculptors, etc were all men. Only young men could be admitted into workshops to train to be an artisan were allowed. Women simply didnt participate in art. Even back as far as ancient Chinese and Japanese art were all males. The same with Roman and Greek. Women did not participate in the art world until about the 16th century in Eurpoe. Even then they were not appreciated. In no way were any of these male artists considered "feminine" by any means. They were craftsmen. Some of the smartest and most influential men in history were "right-brained". I think it as unfair of anyone (namely the articles you claim are here at SS) to call such artists and artists of the 20th and 21st century "effeminiate" and "metrosexual".

Women simply like intelligence and creativity as well as masculinity. Some women prefer the body-builder type with no brains and others prefer a "right-brained metrosexual" but most vie for those in between. So, in conclusion, no you do not have to be completly masculine or completely right-brained and creative. Try to be a mixture of both. Take art classes and learn to paint or sculpt but then go to the gym and work out and be manly. Watch sports and take an art history or english literature course. most of all, be balanced.

I think someone should start a thread so we can figure out if cutting off your ear and sending it to your girlfriend is a DJ thing to do or an AFC thing to do.

I second your motion to make a topic, maybe a poll is even better, because this topic has been puzzling me for quite some time.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

VanGogh was a seriously mentally ill individual who happened to be an artist. He also shot himself. Is that an AFC or DJ thing to do?

About that thread hahahahahahahahahaah...there...that was hilarious and i think you should be a comedian

Now, my point was that you do not have to be a hulking bada$$ brute like VanDiesel or whatever to be a DJ. Along the same line as artists, how many musicians are hulking brutes that go to the gym everyday(or prettyboys that look like Brad Pitt?) Mick Jagger and John Lennon don't strike me as either, did they have a problem getting hb's? Noooooo.....

In fact, evolution must have favored intelligence, creativity, and talent to some degree or these people would no longer exist- they would have all gotten beaten up back in the caveman days. We would have no art or music, we would only have Arnold Schwarzeneggars, VanDiesels, and Brad Pitt's, stupid jock rugby players, etc. running around now.

It's only DJ if you shoot yourself in the right testicle while doing a handstand, otherwise it's AFC. Remember to look aloof and uninterested while doing it.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Wow!, such an intelligent, well thought out answer.

Are you guys really this upset by my suggestion that more than one type of guy can be a "Don Juan" or an "Alpha" and can still pull in women?

I mostly agree with this board on how a man should be IN HIS INTERACTIONS WITH WOMEN. However, I disagree with SOME of the posters on this board about what you have to do to be a "man" as opposed to a "metrosexual" or whatever. I also disagree that looks play as an important part in the seduction as some here have contended they do.
I think there is more to being a man than looking tough and srong. Being a man is as much in your head as anywhere else. You can pull in women with wit, creativity and intelligence as much as you can with the big tough guy appraoch. Wit, creativity, being about something, and intelligence is what Picasso used to pull in women, and the reason I believed that he could in spite of the fact that he was only 5'2" and ugly.

You know, I once heard of a guy on PCP who tore off his own testicles and threw them at his girlfriend.

AFC or Alpha?

Discuss.
