I have been a smoker for the last 15 years and finally was able to quit from the help of Chantix pills. I've been trying to stay focused on lifting weights and some light cardio for now. As of today it has been 22 days that I have been cigarette free. The only one thing that I really wanna change from a physical stand point is to put back on the weight. I'm 6'2" and weigh 170lbs, needless to say I am skinny. I'm in great shape, just too skinny for my own liking.

I'm curious to know of anyone had tried the P90X program and if it gives good results. If so, what were the outcomes? I understand that you have to follow a strict diet, and I am ok with that. However, this program seems to be more geared towards losing weight and building muscle mass rather than putting it on.

Any tips on how to go about this will be greatly appreciated.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

You could spend a whole lot of $$ on P90x (which is fine), or just explore the forums and put together your own workout routine based off someone else's for free.

And honestly, it's probably better. I'm not a P90x basher, but I feel like the people who get on P90x never finish because they are the same ones who don't want to put in the time to research and plan a workout/diet regiment.

Moreover, P90x isn't a one size fits all type of deal. However if you put you own routine together that fits you, well then it fits.

Half a dozen of my friends hopped on this P90X bandwagon at the start of this year. They all quit after a month or so. Like you pointed out, they all had the wrong attitude. To them, it's more like a necessary evil they have to do to satisfy some half-arsed New Year's resolution they came up with while drunk on NYE.
