"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

lately im way to overprotective of jess (the girl ive been with for almost a year). Shes an awesum down to earth girl who isnt like most girls (slvtty) and isnt into hooking up with tons of guys.

She is the girl who we began as just friends for about 3 years and then just instantly clicked and feel for each other.

But i tend to get overprotective when she hangs out with her guy friends, even though 90% of the time i with her while shes with her guy friends because weve been friends for 3 years and hang out with the same group of friends.

Do any of you guys get overprotective of the girl your with too....and if so, do you do anything to get rid of it and have confidence.

Because i know that we guys tend to always over think...so when i get overprotective of her, i feel that she will turn into a slvtt just like the other girls ive been with. :cuss:

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

your mind is making up fantasies about her possibly cheating on you; and from what i can gather, there's no reason for you to feel insecure.

The problem is that our minds can't really discern what we know to be true from what we make up in our heads so the more you start to think about her messing around, the more you think it's actually true. It's a self destructive cycle and you gotta make a concious effort to get away from thinking this way.

Now, if she gave you some serious reasons for thinking she's cheating... then that would be a different story.

but she is with friends and we all know what guy friends are to girls.... She has no interest in them, trust me.

You're placing her on a pedestal. For the moment, just imagine other options. But you should quickly *find* those other options to eliminate this scarcity mentality you have ("isn't like most girls"). Multiply your social circles. Flirt/talk a little more with other girls. That should help.

Relax, laugh at yourself, and realise that either way, whether she cheats or not, you can only take things as they come.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
