Generic Red Pill Thought mirrors Environmentalism in many ways https://www.thenewatlantis.com/publications/environmentalism-as-religion https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/mar/30/james-lovelock-environmentalism-religion Up to and including their delusions of an alleged Paradise that we've fallen from

Only difference between these two theologies: Greens deam of a prehistory filled with hunter gatherers who lived in perfect harmony with each other and the natural world, while Red Pillers fantasize about a 1950s which functioned exactly like sitcoms from that decade. No amount of anyone pointing out that the archeological evidence https://books.google.com/books?id=4-sPSyNWVsEC&pg=PA71#v=onepage&q&f=false doesn't support the latter, and that the alleged Golden Age of The 50s was the same decade that gave us The Man In The Gray Flannel Suit https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_in_the_Gray_Flannel_Suit_(novel) will prompt these True Believers to think:

"Well f-ck me... My worldview may not be The Incontrevertible Word Of God after all"

Yes, but at least the nerdy Beta male could get a woman then.
60scels have a stronger case for that decade being superior to our own era... Americans of that decade were present for what's likely to be the most memorable Presidential assassination in US history. By contrast, we've been shortchanged with the sight of that dude from The Apprentice getting part of his ear blown off

Yeah, Oklahoma City and 9/11 were fun spectacles to behold in their own right, nonetheless we can't deny: These were events where nothing but a gaggle of no-names bit the dust

Both lacked the dramatic panache of witnessing, on live TV, the most charismatic politician in living memory get his skull blasted open, it's contents splattered across his super model-esque wife's garrishly overpriced Chanel suit
