out of town date

I am going to a new town and have an all day date arranged. We are going to go out for brunch and a walk along the boardwalk (Halifax NS). In the evening we will probably go to a movie. However, I need an idea to take up a few more hours in the afternoon before the movie starts.

Any ideas, I'm kind of lost because it will not be in my home city and I am unsure of what is available.

Ideas on how I should proceed?

ps I want to keep control and not let her control the agenda.

Ok I agree w/ what your saying and I'm confident I'll be able to lead the convo through techniques described in the bible.

However what are some other action type ideas that we can do so that I can iniate kino?
