I'm not against this, but strange things are happening with these. From their front page,
Paul Harvey, well-known and respected news commentator, reported:
What's new? The Liberty Dollar! Fed Ex competes with the Post Office. So now there's the Liberty Dollar competing with the greenbacks printed by your government. The Liberty Dollar is backed by gold and silver. Yes, there's a competitive currency right here in the United States. In five years it has become the second most popular currency in America.
Uh, Paul Harvey is a paid spokesman. And, the second most popular currency in the USA is the Peso, not the Liberty Dollar. A lot of places down south accept Pesos.
The Liberty Dollar offices have been raided by the FBI, who seized all their gold and silver on the claim that the liberty dollar organization have been using the coins for laundering money from mail fraud.
On the other hand, months have passed since the raid, and yet, the allegations are still really vague. No one at the FBI seems to know who was defrauded or how.
