I've read that we as men tend to claim what we want as ours, and desire to protect it as an innate need. Saw that in myself today, some guy was trying to flirt with one of my plates and was just annoying her while she was trying to study. I didn't do anything because of the circumstance but I really wanted to go up to the guy and tell him to fvck off.
It got me thinking about how my plate would have seen that. The feminists would say she can handle herself, and maybe she'd see me indirectly taking ownership as being needy. I really don't know. Is this desire something I should repress or embrace?
