Metal: let the newcomers deal with it. if anyone is dumb enough to listen to advice from a guy that posts 32x a day and has yet to post a photo of his progress, then they can't blame anyone but themselves for what happens to them.
Heh, good idea with the ignore. I'd do it myself, but I kind of like driving by savage car wrecks to see what happened.

LOL so true.

It is kind of worrying to think some people may take him seriously though.

Not as a general rule, genetics and age play a role. A hardgainer could never get away with that, but an average-above average trainee might.

Ya I know, but I don't have the time to respond to every piece of misinformation this guy puts out. And for every person that points out some of this bad advice, he just copies and pastes stuff from bb.com, and writes 2-4 replies in a row (look at this thread) to say something that could be said in 1 reply. The more you argue with him, the more he'll post since he's on the comp 24-7. It's funny how he says he works out 6-7 days a week, if by working out means posting on sosuave, then yeah I'll agree.

The guy claims he has photos of his progress, yet can't post them and wants you to add him to MSN so he can show them to you, but in all reality, he's prolly gonna sign you up for dozens of different porn mail lists. Not that I'd bother, at this point they'd probably be photos of someone else anyway.

People can listen to this stuff at their own risk.

hard gainers are less common than one would believe, most are just little-eaters.

I don't completely disagree, but I will still not recommend playing soccer/doing cardio etc every day if you're trying to add muscle mass, unless all you're doing for cardio is walking to get some cardiovascular fitness. Low intensity cardio will usually do more good than bad, even help gains by increasing appetite.

???

As the author of this thread, I don't care about cardio at all.
I wonder how you can keep optimal reps for bulking (4-6 reps)?
After a coupel of sets I am usually quite tired to make more than 1-2 reps in the next set. But I feel my muscles can work with less weights.

So either I should wait longer between sets (5 min? 10 min??) to get to 4 reps per set again, or I should decrease the weights.
What is a good way to keep the optimal reps for bulking?

get a spotter, do 6 reps per set, and make sure you can get the 6 reps on your first set. Then do 3 sets. If you start losin a little speed, have your spotter give you a little boost. Do your reps forced if you have to (spot doing a lot of work).

Focus on making the lbs go up every week bro.

There is not way I find a spotter: people I know don't give a s*** about helping on a regular basis. It would be ideal though to find one.

But anyway, what you said essentually equals to lowering the weights and doing 6 reps. Ok, I'll try that though it not that easy to do with a barbell. Much easier with a machine.

personally i find a spotter is only there so u dont have to mess around when u fail a rep, he shouldnt be lifting for you, even with a pinky.

Forced reps are great for the last set of the exercise. Real burners.
