I have a good "guy" car. It's a 1993 Chevy Lumina EuroSport with a 6 cylinder 3.1 litre engine. The speedometer goes to 115mph. It's got just over 200k miles on it, but has been babied by the previous owners. I paid $500 for it 3 years ago and have only had to replace tires, brakes, battery, starter and fuel pump. It hauls a$$ and the body and interior are in good shape (a couple tiny rust spots, but otherwise it's fine.)

Your much better off saving for something else or you can take this opportunity to learn for your own mistakes, I did.
