"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Yeah I know most of you will agree that this is lame and "get a girl offline" but see most of my time I'm working and I don't have time to be going to starbucks and "girl hang outs" and try to approach them.
I transport cars for a living so if anything the most time I could approach women are during work and that still only gives me a limited amount of time before the shuttle van comes and picks me up. So what I'm asking is, what are the negatives and positives if you see a girl that you find a lot of interest in and you send her a message on MySpace or anything? I know that a ton of guys has met great women off of this site and even banged a few of them. Pretty much on myfree time I just check out a few of the and put my zip code for women that are around my area but I don't have a MySpace page of my own, it's all blank....I'm not into the Internet website crap as I don't have much time to do it and to keep track of everything. Do you think it's a good idea to just send them a message even though they'll think like who is this guy'' and all. Has this worked for anyone? The thing that I worry about is that TONS of guys probably had messaged her saying "You're beautiful" "You're pretty" and all that **** so I can't do that, what would you do to have her want you without being like the rest of those pigs? Lets hear your stories.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

First off, don't ever send her one saying "You're so pretty"... "God, you're beautiful"... "I'd love to make you my girlfriend". Face it - it's pathetic, and the chances of her responding are zilch. I've used the internet to hook up with more women than I can count - my "strategy" is simple. Read her profile. When you send her a message, use something from what she wrote that shows you actually read it... so, if in there somewhere she put "I love white daisies", put as the subject line "White Daisies". When she's reading through her messages, yours will stick out above all of the other people's who wrote "Hi" or "Hey sexy". This increases your odds of her replying by about 2000x. From there, where you take it is on you. There are plenty of threads on here about online dating... no, it's not pathetic (unless you actually have an "internet girlfriend" who you haven't ever sexed in real life ;)). Try doing a search (for titles only) with "online" as the string.

Actually, I've done it for you:

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/search...d=118578&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending

By the way, I've found (through trial & error) that www.facethejury.com is one of the best sites to sign up for. It's definitely worth the $6/month you pay... another thing to know is that you should stay on top of the listings. With all of the girls on there, plenty of guys IM them... so if you're one of the first, it increases your odds of scoring her immeasurably. After all, this is how I caught my bi-sexual hottie of a girlfriend.

Good luck, and welcome to the site. ;)

When I first started checking women out online, I used to think, "Wow, here's a chance to meet great women I normally wouldn't meet in real life."

Unfortunately, I also started meeting all kinds of nutjobs I wouldn't normally meet in real life as well.

The Internet's like anywhere else...it's hit or miss.

You're right, it's just like real life. The thing about the internet is that there are a ton of girls on there who just wouldn't cut it in a club... There's a saying I heard once (about garage sales) that applies to the online dating world too. 99% of it is garbage, but that 1% is what keeps you coming back. Same goes with the internet... you might have a slow week, or month, but if you keep giving it a shot and continually go after anyone who piques your interest, odds are very good that you'll be between the sheets with her panties on the floor within a few days.

Not sure why I'm including this in here, but here goes:

http://www.buddypic.com (gives out AIM info for free.. but they let 13 year olds sign up - so unless you're a perverted pedophile, please stick with 17+... I don't want you to go to jail!)
http://www.myspace.com (very, very nice...)
http://www.thefacebook.com (if you have a .edu email, this is hugely important to you... I found a girl on there who's into a lot of freaky things that I'm also interested in... the picking grounds are ripe).
http://www.vampirefreaks.com (only good for a 1 month subscription - about $7 - then again, I did say that I like some weird girls... for sex only, though... with relationships I tend to stick to the normal girls.. and try to bring out their kinky side... :p)

Met some nice professional women in thier mid twenties, there are nutters out there but yeah there are nutters everywhere u go in this world.

You'll find alot of women especially those who work in the city, London dont have the time to meet guys so they turned to online dating...

When responding to a girls profile..choose somthing specific about her profile and tease her about it...for example if she says she loves whining, dining and eating out..respond and say..so u cant cook huh ?. No worries my mom can give you lessons..do u see what I mean ???..be different..

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

One piece of advice I have: don't judge a girl by whether or not a picture is posted. Email girls that haven't posted pictures and ask them to email you a pic. There are some hotties out there who don't want their image on an internet dating site.

I supplement real life with online... so long as you don't exclusively go after people over the net I don't see it as being a problem. Problems only arise when someone who can't get a girl in real life becomes too comfortable with using email/etc and never actually get out into the real field.

As for clubs, I've found (over and over again) that they aren't good for finding meaningful relationships of over about 2 weeks... they're just good for flings and ONS'.

The social stigma attached to internet dating alone makes it not worth my time.

For my money, there really isn't anything more AFC than having to meet women online. Period.

If they were worthwhile, they'd be already attached to other people or they'd have the proper social skills to be out meeting real people as opposed to chatting on AIM.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

It worked for me once and that was by accident btw I wasn't trying to get the girl, she just started talking to me on her own. Heck she's been even more agressive than me about it. Now if we could only get rid of her ex-husband...

As shallow as I may sound I agree with you......to an extent. If you're a true dj who can pull chicks left and right like our buddy diablo here than I suppose you're clear to check out the internet dating scene. But I think most people before they venture into this terrain need to work on picking up girls in person first and formost. If all your friends who know you hear you talking like, "YA I just meet this great girl on the internet...." First they'll give you a 2 second ackward stare and then say, "OHHH, good." and take another sip of their bud light. If this sight is about improving your dealings with women internet dating is taking the easy way out and we shouldn't be recommending it here.

I personally am gonna avoid this until I can first master the cold approach, which is taking a frustrating toll on me lately, before I go putting up internet profiles.

I couldn't help to notice your Care Bears. So do you collect them?

Anyways, did you notice something? The minute you say you're single you probably get like hundreds of messages from all these random guys...I wonder why....

Don't mind my profile, I kind of took it down because I don't have time to update it all the time.

Y'know, the same can be said about people who look for dating advice online.

All of the skills that you mentioned are used while online, at least by people who have those skills. Those who do can, those who can't, denounce.

I've done this before when trying IM and it worked very well. Might work on myspace or something similar too.

Let's say she has a few pictures posted. Tell her she looks really cute, mischevious, or whatever, in one of them. But, and this is the important part, don't tell her which one.

She'll be dying to know which picture you were refering to and ask or even beg for you to tell her. Just keep changing subjects, play around with it, or make her earn it ("If I tell you, you have to...")

It should be something subtle that she can't figure out herself. You create a mystery, and now you have something she wants and has to get from you.

I did this with a girl I was chatting with and it drove her crazy. She had been losing interest, but as soon as I brought this up it got her attention.

Me: "You have pretty eyes, especially in one of your pictures."
Her: "Which one?"
Me: "So tell me about..."
Her: "Which picture?"
Me: "Have you ever gone to..."
Her: "Is it the the last one?"
Her: "Please tell me"
