To ride a little bit on what ESPI is saying - the top girls at the clubs are probably also online (at least at some point; seems everyone at least tries it).
The difference is at a club - if you approach an average girl and your decent looking - she'll love it. Approach the same exact girl online - and she'll have a complex (sometimes.)
And this trickles up to each level as well (the 7 & 8). Each has a distorted view of their worth... 9 & 10s already have this view... online dating does not change it in either direction.
