"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

ATM, my only contact with this chick is on msn, and she only comes on once or twice a month. I do know her in person, haven't seen her in 5 or 6 years though, but she liked me then and seems chatty on msn. She said a while ago that I don't see her on a lot of the time because her status is offline, not because she isn't there.

So what would be my best move in this situation? At this point sending an email asking her out would seem quite strange and out of the blue, might not work either. On msn though, I can screen her a bit then go for it and just say 'lets catch up or something' so it really is far better than email. But I don't want to wait ages, I need some way to get in contact or at least attract her attention so she comes online without seeming weird.

And don't just say forget about it, because I won't, and telling me to do nothing and wait really wouldn't help either.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

"After you are nice for a while, casually ask her somewhere. If she comes up with something like “I don’t date” act surprised and offended that she thinks it was a date. Make it awkward without you looking like the conceited one or blowing it out of proportion (subtlety is key!). Let her think that THAT was her idea, not yours. Trust me, she is painfully adverse to leading men on. More than likely, she has been accused of it since puberty and it hits a nerve."

I do know her in person
Just don't see her nor have any way to contact her besides msn thus far..

My question was less to do with what to say when shes online, I can handle that I think, but more to getting her to be online or getting in contact with her since shes rarely there anymore. I don't know what kind of response I was hoping for.. Oh well.
