"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Here's what I came up with last night. Any suggestions?

Header: Don't read this profile, you wont like it

Interests: Exploring my passions...

Text:

Have you felt that magical feeling in the air when two people were destined to be together? That urgent impulse to get a little bit closer? You just want to ...explore.

That certain person brings out feelings of comfort that you didn't know you craved, no, that intense feeling of desire. It just feels so perfect and right and you have to be with them. It's like you're stuck in a dream and you have to pinch yourself just to make sure that you're still awake.

It's like the warmth from the glimmering orange sun, the day's last rays beating upon your body. The gentle breeze as you purse your lips and quiver with excitement. The taste of cool red wine flowing smoothly into your soft mouth as you feel a stirring rise deep from within you. It's that feeling of intense pleasure when you reach the top of the mountain with your lover, the cool air causing every pore in your body to open and simply relax.

You've been close to guys like this, but only in your deepest fantasies. Soulmate is the word. Once in a lifetime, a romantic lover comes along and you just have to have him.

Each day is an adventure and they never cease to surprise and fill you with wonder. He is passionate, strong, smart, and most of all, your white knight champion and prized protector.

That's what you want, isn't it? That's what matters. Having a guy who knows what you are feeling --- a kindred connection between two longing souls that become one to the touch. That is the connection that I crave for....every moment that I am awake....with each breathe that I take....
and each time my heart pounds.....I crave for a woman who gives everything she has to me and takes all I have to gave.

I crave a woman whose touch is as smoldering as the heat from her lips and the moistness of her tongue...
First Date: You and I....relaxed....holding each other....frozen in time....underneath the glowing moon....

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Playing the fantasy card, hunh?

You can try it and apprise us of the results, but I don't think it will work.

I've been online in various forms for awhile. The best results I got were from a great picture followed by a couple of Dane Cook style C&F one-liners about my exploits on the day I sat down to write the profile.

Brutally honest, you have to show you have a life. The way your profile is written, it doesn't.

The profile sounds like you are trying way too hard. And the title doesn't at all match the content. Saying you wouldn't want to read this, I understand the logic that it will get attention, but to follow that, you would expect the content to be ****y and make you sound like a fun bad boy, like that famous profile that Neil "style" Strauss wrote.

I ultimately think what matters most with online dating is having a good photo and good stats and what you actually say is secondary so long as you don't come off like a goofball. If you are the wrong height, weight, income, race, religion or whatever, it probably won't make much difference what you write.

that profile stinks, here's the 411 on writing a good profile: http://www.plentyoffish.com/member4646890.htm

be honest, but emphasize your top attributes. notice before writing his many flaws, this brilliant author stated his vast wealth. show off your bloated face, hairy chest, and pasty skin. the profile itself is almost irrelevant, just say you're rich and handsome, and like speakeasy said, work the statistics and photos.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

profiles are secondary..............concentrate on writing great first contact emails and then responding to reply emails.

Profiles no matter how well written (for men) reap less than 2% success......women get tons or emails so why would they venture out and initiate first contact.

Now once you entice them with your email, they WILL check out your profile for pictures and traits they like.......a picture works in your favor but its not the end all and be all. A well written profile enhances your odds of success.

But if one thing propels you over the edge, it's what you write in your initial and secondary emails.

Someone else posted a great template here so I'm giving that a shot now.

My ex Favorited me before but I removed her so she couldn't see me online, minus the few crazies along the way.

Thanks for the feedback.
