My goal/dream is for my music, and my work in general, to be a part of re-rooting humankind's sense of dignity, faith, and confidence in their ability to envision, to choose, to create, and to sustain a positive relationship with other human beings, and their reality on a whole. We carry the entire world's reality (and thus the world's happiness,) within each one of us. We are all sensitively "dependent" (like a fractal formation) upon one another. ALL that we do has an AFFECT, and echos into eternity…In short, I hope that my music, reminds every human being that hears it, of how beautifully important, and individually powerful they are, in such a uniquely irreplaceable way.
I love learning, and I am very intense by nature. I also greatly enjoy teaching. In college, I started a private tutoring service for young ESL students. Tutoring has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love working with children, and watching their faces light up the moment they master a concept.
One of my favorite philosophers is Niccolo Machiavelli. In his writings, he stressed the importance of one's telos, and/or the nature of one's target/goal(s), as a crucial determiner of one's destiny, and the outcome/effect one has on the world. I strive to address my life, my personal development, and every other"telos" I undertake, in the "manner" described beautifully by Vince Lombardi:
"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. "
And that's a little bit about me.
My partner must NON-NEGOTIABLLY be/have/strive, for these traits (I will offer/do the same):
-An EXTREMELY hard worker
-A HAPPY soul
-AN INTENSE individual, whose mind is ALWAYS going, thinking, and LOVES IT

-A conscious, respectful individual/heart, that values life, and others, until there is reason to do/view/treat otherwise

-An optimist, AND a realist
-Not into drama. But, IS into building substantive/productive relationships
-My equal in physical attractiveness
-LOVES CONSCIOUSLY/according to his principles.
-Is imperfect, but NEVER STOPS striving for better
-Deeply SECURE

She seems to be a chick with her sh!t together, but I wonder if she would be attentive to her man, since she has so many other activities. I actually find her interesting and would not mind meeting such a woman - just for the conversation, even if there were no romance.
Of course, as I am "semi-retired" unemployed, she may find me to not be a "hard worker", and a bit too laid back in general to be intense enough for her. I actually somewhat have the personality of being "Randian" (had to look that one up! :rockon

POF had a feature where we could intercept the day's photos and reject or accept them. I busted them non-stop for violating site regs, for bad taste in general, for being lousy shots-- witness protection pics, hats and sunglasses indoors, surrounded by all their besties, you name it. If guys posted pics of themselves acting like jackazzes, I accepted them... less competition for the rest of us, right? One that just blew me away was the girl posing with her swollen belly.
