"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Recently I thought I would give some of the online dating a try. I'm not experienced with it but it can really help filter out all the crap out there.

Anyway, I was going through profiles on a dating site and I came across this one. I was shocked because it didn't contain the usuall bull**** that I normaly read. Anyway.... I will be taking this girl out some place nice in a few days from now. She is very attractive and I've had some great conversations with her on the phone. She is showing interest and I haven't even met her yet. I've been very busy with my projects and she has called me several times even after I didn't call her a few times when I said I would.

Anyway this is what she said in her profile.
"
I'm looking for a man with a good moral character. He has to be rugged, yet gentlemanly. He has to be kind and generous, but not a pushover. He has to be intelligent, but not arrogant. He has to be able to bait his own hook, and be willing to bait mine too! He has to be able to fix things, but will let me try to do it myself first if I want too. I want a man who loves his family, but is not a mama's boy. I need someone who will respect me and be there for me, and support me without question, as I would do for him. I want a man who will be devoted, and loyal and generally good in all things. I want a man who will love me unconditionally, and will be there for me whenever I need him,
"

Any of you ******** experts out there care to take a shot at what this girl said? Something is bothering me about this girls interest level. I just don't understand why it is so high. I' haven't done much of anything. Bascially no work at all.

I'm strongly considering taking this girl out for a great dinner at someplace expensive right away. Basically, show her what a real man can do. :)

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I real man doesn't need to impress her with an expensive meal right?

The profile sounds pretty standard to me. Women never mean what they say so I wouldn't read too much into the profile.

Just go out and have a good time with her - you won't know what she really is like until you hang out with her! Good luck! :)

yes yes yes.. I have to keep telling myself not to listen to what women say :)

A real man doesn't need to impress a girl with a nice meal... but there is nothing wrong with doing it if that is the type of guy you are. I'm just thinking old fashioned ... that is type of man I am.

i wouldn't spend a lot of money on a girl who i don't even know... take it from me, girls can be much different once you meet them in person...

good luck, mate!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

you better pump this girl for a sense of humor!!!!

I know far too many girls who have no sense of humor, they threw it away when they started thinking about life outside of this hell hole I live in... I've whipped half of em into fun shapes;) the rest of them stay hard assed and can't take a joke and don't take the ******* side with stride at all.

hope she's cool...

BUT

unless this girl has a sense of humor your only going to get the juices flowing with good arguments

Actually, I think things will work out. I saw her on line and she asked me to call her.

She has a good sense of humor. I had her laughing and smiling so much on the phone her cheeks got sore.

I'm just going to pick her up in my car and take her out to dinner and then do something fun. The plan is to keep this date old fashioned and traditional. I told her that I'm going to take her to a place that I've never been to before (and take a chance). That did the trick and it sparked the notion that I'm confident enough. I also told her that I don't usually plan things and I like to just do what ever comes to my mind. That should confuse her a enough for now :)

I'll post the field report of the date on sunday.
