"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

O.K My girlfriend finished with me about a month ago. It had been going downhill for a while, but she said he had been really unhappy, and I was having problems at home that she said, she just couldn’t cope with (Eating problems associated with stress which she feels she caused & had no choice but to finish with me (she reckoned our relationship made her ill!) I tried to say to her, couldn’t we have another try, but she said no. We dated for about 18 months.

So I left it, and had no contact with her. Then two weeks later, I get a text saying ‘Did I want to go out for a drink?’. I thought about it long and hard, and then said yes. We went for the drink. She was really rude and just spent the whole time telling me about some guy she’d just met up with that weekend who she hadn’t seen for 5 years, and how he was ‘special’ to her. She then basically went on saying hurtful stuff about why she finished with me, that she didn’t really need to! I then stupidly told her that I funnily enough still liked her, and that she just didn’t care…and then I walked out…..

I then got a text later saying that she was sorry for all the hurt he caused. I ignored it. The next day I got another text from her after work, saying that she really thinks friends could work between us, if I still wanted to… I just ignored her! (How could friends work after the earlier conversation!). Then get another text the next day ‘Why didn’t you reply to my message, that’s just rude!’. Then I find out from another friend that she’s been texting her, asking has she seen me and am I ok. When my friend says yes, she says ‘phew…that’s a relief!’ What?

Then a few days ago, get another message. Did I want to go out for a drink with her as friends, as she’s going travelling for a few weeks in 3 weeks time. In this message she also said ‘I still have feelings for you, but I know we couldn’t go out, so friends is the best option I reckon’ I hesitated, said yes, and then sent her a message next day saying I had changed my mind! I said that we should just go our separate ways.

She replied ‘Goodbye’.

Now I still see her around, everytime I walk past her and am about to say hi, she looks at the floor! I don’t know what to do!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You did the right thing when you finalized things. You are DONE with her. Let her go.

Get to reading the Bible on this web site.

From now on when you see her, look straight at her without a word and keep in your mind that this confused girl does not qualify to be in your life.

The hurt will go away real fast, I promise.

just cut contact completely, dont reply to the texts and dont say yes to meeting, she was probably just seeing if you still liked her and wanted some attention.
