This morning I just had an epiphany on how to see if my female friend finds me attractive beyond just being friends.


Here it goes:

ME: Hey *****, can I ask you something, and be honest as possible.

Her: Okay, (with a look of bewilderment as she doesn't know what I'm about to ask).

Me: Do you find me attractive, beyond just being a friend? (Looking right into her eyes)

Now her answer will determine what I would say next.

If Yes: Me: Well how come have we never hooked up?

Simple..

If No: Me: Well ----- okay then, its cool, I respect you for telling me straight up where we stand..

Simple..


So there you have it. So in way I'm telling her that I could possibly see her as more than friend without getting all overdramactic about it. By asking my female friend about "US'' in this way the friendship is still intact and also she has newfound respect for me- Since I did, like a MAN told her how I really feel about her. No weirdness inovovled-just a simple question that deserves a simple answer-Yes or No. Tell what are some of your guys ideas?

Stop looking for "safe", that still means that you are not comfortable with the idea that your desires, and wants are just as important as anyone's elses.

The best way is too simply ask her "when are you going to make a pass at me, since you know you want too?"

You have a point royal but maybe you are misunderstanding what I meant by "safe". Being "safe" to me mean to mantain as much control possible-not over-exposing your emotions. I say "safe" as to not let her know just how much you like her-BUT letting her know that you are possibly interested in her beyond a friendship level..Hope that clarified what I menat.

Got you bro!

The best way as not to let a woman know "how much you like her" is simply not to tell her. Stop being so detailed with them.

I once told a chick playfully "You keep dressing like that I'll marry you". Mind you she was cute but I wasn't thinking about her like that, she was a friend. Some months later we are playfully flirting again, and she tells me about that comment, and how just as she was making passes at me, that I was making passes at her.

I forgot about that comment since it was a joke to me, but she took it very seriously. My point is just make a simple statement, and dont get overly mushy, and overly detailed. Let her mind start wondering "how much", but you dont tell her.

Just like men, women analsis everything, over and over again.

Simply say "You know what Im feeling you, you are really cool". That's it nothing more, then let her imagination do the rest.

I never did/do the ask thing. If I wanted to **** my friend, I simply made a move.

You will find out that way.

Is it "safe"? No. But what exactly is "safe" in this context? I never had a big deal with losing female "friends", so i never had the idea of safety to worry about.

Why do you need to ask. Everytime you ask, you get the chick telling you that she only wants to be friends even if she is interested in you... You give her an opportunity to apply the brakes and she will. All you are doing is throwing up a hoop and asking her to jump thru it... Kinda forcing or pre-empting her to be your BF or lover or to just jump to the next level... The thing is, she may well be interested in you but a question like that would trigger her anti-$lut mechanism in almost all circumstances. Her answer might not be what her heart wanted but she won't back down once she has said it..

Its unneccessary....

You have a point. Quite honestly I can really care less now about getting with her now-Although she is hot as hell..there is other pu$$y out there. We guys always overestimate the feeling we have for a girl when in reality we just want some sex most of the time.
