"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I don't go out in groups (assumig we aren't already fvcking)... when I setup a date, there is no guesswork involved. Her in a group is one more factor you have to decipher trying to figure out is she here for "fun" or for "FUN" if you get the drift.
Maybe we have different M.O.'s, but in in the past couple of years most all of my prospects have come from my current social connections. I usually MEET these women in a group setting so it's natural that we keep it in a group setting (aside from extracurricular activities), and I'm ok with that. So in this context phone calls are acceptable.

I can't remember when I was on what I would consider to be a "date" and I had a chick blabbing on her cell phone.

The only exception, if you could even call it that, was a chick I was dating awhile back who would text her best friend all night some nights with a play by play of what was happening. I didn't pay much mind, but it kind of pissed me off when one night I was texting a female friend and she got bent out of shape just because I was texting another chick. Male, female, WHATEVER. If it's ok for YOU (it didn't bother me all that much cause I knew her pretty well) it's good for me.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I have a business blackberry. I must answer that. I have minor children, so if they call or even my ex (in case something happened to them) I might not answer, but I would listen to the voice mail.

I'm very picky on this stuff.
