That guy was way kinder than I would have been.
He kept his cool well. I would have liked to have seen how that "interacton" started though.
I don't know why that lady got so bent out of shape. By the time she got done shopping, there's a good chance the guy would be gone anyway. And her daughter could get in from the other side. I think she was really worried about getting doored.

Come to think of it, he must have gotten out on his passenger side.

At first it looked like she wanted to leave, in which case they could have just gotten in on the driver's side and left. But then they went and walked into the shopping area.

This ain't funny actually. In the U.S. especially, at least from my experience, you get dents and dings on parking lots all the time. It's in Russia I am used to park real close and come back and don't expect a dent or a scratch. In the U.S. it's a common everyday occurrence. Most people don't give a fck, and some do it on purpose.

What is likely to be the legal standing of her behaviour? Is this assault? Imagine if the roles were reversed. I can remember Bible Belt saying something about the risks of shouting at someone in California.

Depends on the laws and local ordinances in their area, lots of possible variables. The man doing the filming would likely win, she was in the wrong. And she's the one using threatening behavior, at least what we can see. Beginning of the incident isn't on film and would be up to speculation. Likely started when he could hardly exit his vehicle. Or when her daughter couldn't get out...as we all know they are blaming the man, either way.

I posted it to share a funny argument of a woman male-shaming a man...blaming his "small peckur anger", viagra, etc. Yeah I know some may not find any humor in this. I didn't post for approval, but to share an example of female crazy like many of us have likely experienced at some point. (yes I've been there).

He was fairly cool about the whole thing, aside from answering the fellow in Spanish about her being crazy...however by watching this surely it can be seen she was out of her cage.

Absolutely in all situations when you start yelling and screaming you loose. Even if the dude dented your car -- mind you, that could be very expensive to repair, a fender might have to be removed, beaten out, prepped and painted if it's aluminum, cost for repairing a single dent can be very high. So even if you think he dented your car, you got no prove, unless it's been recorded somehow on video tape. So yelling does nothing. Neither calling the police does nothing, unless you have video evidence. This is true for all jurisdictions, Florida, California, Russia, whatever.

Confronting doesn't do sht either, especially if you got no prove. The most it could do is what @Desdinova showed in that pic, otherwise people do dent on purpose.

You either walk away, or you dent back, or cut tires, or if you're creative enough stick a knife into his radiator. So long as there are no witnesses or cameras.

The way people get in trouble always 100% when they confront something having good intentions. Car bothering you outside, confronting the asshle that didn't give a sht from the beginning won't do anything most of the time. But cutting his tires might make him look for a better spot to park. Baby upstairs bothering you? Confront parents won't do anything, but taking a piss into baby carriage they leave outside will make them look for a nicer neighborhood. Your neighbor's dog is barking all day long while he's at work, confronting him won't do anything, but poisoning the damn thing will solve your problem.

After confronting someone you can't do anything to that person. Better to stay incognito. Thinking that if you let the person know how he's making your life miserable he will do something about it, is stupid, champ at best. It only works if you are in position of power, like if they don't solve their problem you will take some action that will 100% hurt them. Most of the time there is nothing you can do.
