and sir, what exactly triggers creativity??

How can one be funny..if he first doesnt pay attention..recognize and question.."What was funny about that? Why did I laugh?"

and if you READ closer..he also says he has read books, and threads about how to do it..yet still comes to the same outcome..

This might shock people,but I got a lot of my humor from watching wrestling.Some of the wrestlers,announcers,and promoters are the funniest people I have ever seen.I used some
of their material.I'll modify it a bit,so I do not get a rep for being a thief.One wrestler,Kurt Angle,schtick is that he rips the town he is wrestling in on that particular night.

Slightly off the subject, but before I came to this site, if I actually got into a convo with a HB (my standards were lower back then too) most of the time I would do a nonstop joke-a-thon, with most of the jokes at my expense. I have improved, tho; if I do get into a big jokefest, it's voluntary (usu. because I'm bored) and I include C+F comments and some neg hit jokes in there as well.
All I can say is check out some books on comedy writing as opposed to comedy routines. Another good thing to do is take a good look at the area or the person you're talking to and find s/thing that just seems a little off, and comment on it with a smile.Might work.
