"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

At work, I'm chatting with this girl who's like early-mid 30s and every chance she gets, she's always talking **** about another girl on our team who's in her early 20s. The older girl basically attributes her age for being "stuck-up", "needy", "thinks she's owed everything". Basically, she talks **** and always says something about her being young.

I sense that the 30 something year has a thing for me but I'm not sure. Is this a jealousy thing?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Its a woman you want nothing to do with apart from work...and possibly not even that.

Most post-wall women are bitter in one way or another.

30's is the age when women start slowly losing their power (or quickly in some cases). Its a pretty horrifying and sobering experience. At least for those who are not in denial lol.

Older women resenting younger women is a real thing.
But I'd say most women are unhappy with some other woman or other at any given time. Seems to be built into the gender.

Women are often catty & cutthroat. If you are "better" in some way than another woman you'll often have to deal with this kind of drama and subversion. I used to be indignant about it. I no longer care unless it directly affects my livelihood (which it has on occasion over the years.)

Now I just recognize it, manage it where I must, avoid it when I can, and don't worry about it unless I absolutely have to.

If you are very pretty, very hot physically, very smart or very accomplished or some combination of the above just learn to understand & embrace the haters. These sorts of women feel inferior in some way next to you. That's their problem. Just recognize it, have a gracious attitude about it & go about your business.

Be the bigger, better person. They can stew in their own vitriol. It will age them that much faster, lol.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I knew an older female coworker that would often complain when we would have a younger, better looking female hire. These new hires were good workers and genuinely nice people too. Honestly, there was no reason for the hate, EXCEPT for some kind of envy.

Women can be catty that way. It makes no sense. There will always be someone else better looking.
I don't hate the Chad guy in the office. We get along great.

Lastly, don't let her draw you into any negative gossip.
