There is an old ex, who did me wrong, really wrong. I told her i never wanted to talk to her again. Well she is still calling me and sending me emails saying she wants to be friends, and find a connection with me. I dont really know what to do. I dont know if i would even want to be her friend, but im just trying to get another's perspective. I dont think shes trying to get me back, i think she just wants to be friends.

You can be distant friends. Just don't go out of your way to talk to her all the time. It's not a big deal.

If she's talking to you on the phone about her and her "boyfriend", then more than likely she's just trying to make you jealous. I wouldn't necessarily call her an AW, but I'd stay away. Being friends is fine, but I wouldn't pursue anything else further than that with this girl.

yeah, i think its hard for me because i really did like this girl, and my judgement is clouded on what to do if anything. Thats why i need and appreciate everyones help.

Alright, I'll be a little clearer here.

She screwed you over for a reason. Most likely that reason is because she's a bitch. You also told her never to speak to you again for a reason. Don't forget that. Look at the situation more objectively than you are.

Normally, if anyone called me, regardless of our past, and said she dumped her boyfriend, I would be all up on that.

If you want to keep hold of your dignity and your pride, follow Dan's advice. More than anything, you shouldn't care about if she has a boyfriend or not. You have many other things to worry about. You're the few, the proud, you're a Don Juan :D Keep your head up man and she'll soon find out what she was missing out on, but by then it'll be too late. Happened to me bro, but that's just life.
