"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

quick story :
a while ago a girl moved near my house (5min drive away), we catch the same bus and goto the same school (college where i live), made up of 17 and 18 y.o's.
so anyway i was on the tune with her awhile ago, and asked her out and she told me that she needed more time to get over her ex boyfriend (they had been going out for a year or something apparently) fair enough i think, but then next week they are going back out ! so i was pissed, we were just friends for ages, then tonight its kinda changed. i was using c&f to the max with her on the way home, and i had to wait for 30min intown for my dad to pick me up after he finished work, but instead she kept offering me a lift to her house to hang out (ive gone there about 3-4 times before while i wait for my old man) so i end up going back there, just watching some tv (nothing sexual has happened between us) and then when 30mins had gone, i said i better wait out the front so i can get a lift home with my dad, then she goes, "my mum can take you home later if you want.." so she wanted me to stay there obviously so i went out the front and told my dad id be home later.

so we just watched tv pretty much and chatted about anything. went home after 2 hours or so, anyway this is the interesting part

her bf (or ex bf im not sure) added me to msn tonight -_-

now why on earth would that happen? he just made small talk and i responded - he went offline pretty quick.

so i have 2 questions :

- I dont think there is hope with this girl as ive tried in the past and failed, move on but remain friends with this girl (no ill not be her emotional tampon either) !

- Why on earth did this guy add me to msn. he has added me in the past (5 months ago) but this time it was under a new email (his surename gave it away) i mean, this girl would have told him about me of course, but why did he add me o_O.

Need some answers guys, cheers!

:cheer:

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ok I only see one question. Why did some guy add you to his MSN chat list...

Why don't you ask him?

"Why did you add me to your chat list?"

How about you set your MSN so that you have to allow people to see you online so you don't have to think about this sort of crap?
