So, pulled this Swedish lass Friday night, phone her Monday night asking her out for a drink tonight. Yeh, no probs.

She phones me tonight 'can i bring my friend', me 'er, wtf, yeh sure whatever (thinking ljbf)'. Then i call her back to clear it up, she's thinking that we're going out with the group of people i was out with Friday night. So i put her straight saying i was just planning on me and her going out tonight. Ah she says, now her friend isn't coming 'thank fcuk' and i'm left wondering if i'm in the friends zone despite Friday nights antic or if it was just a misunderstanding.

Who knows?

Now deciding or quiet country pub or louder town bar for tonight...

i hope she doesn't cancel on you tonight. bring her to the loud, fun place. chicks like having fun. i doubt you have been LJBF'd this early. just play it cool.

Go to both places and go to every bar around that two people can talk and laugh in.

All of my first "go for a drink" dates with girls are the bar-hopping kind. Two or three drinks at each one. Never let on that this is what you are doing. Each time you pull into a new place, it's a surprise to her. You don't tell her you're taking her home but you don't let on that there will be other stops that night.

They always get a real kick out of it. (And they've had a few more drinks in them than they planned for lol.)

Yeah I think that you should go anyway. Have a good time. Don't worry too much about where you stand with her; she'll make it evident enough for you if you follow the signs, whether she realizes it or not. Go out and sincerely have some fun. If worse comes to worse she see's that you're a fun guy, and if you're not attractive to her maybe she can set you up with a friend of her's who might be. This is an interesting situation and always engage in interesting situations as look as they don't pose a threat.
