Not sure if I've signed on for a ballet company, but for every angel chick in my office there is at least one prima donna demon from hell. Most are on the less attractive side vs. the others, but I don't think that matters. A couple are more senior than me and most are in junior positions - regardless, when certain management is away from office sh1t starts to fly. They make the culture at the office degrade to toxic. Their comments are really unprofessional and venemous. Even worse, there are a couple guy b1tches that are on their bad attitude band wagon.

Is it possible to roll the crimson tide every day of the month? Should I get a set of Shun kitchen knives and place them on my desk so when I get cut up at least it won't hurt as much?

For now I am just diffusing and taking the high road, but in all of the professional positions I have held, I have never experienced such attitudes. One can find bad girls any minute of the day, but it is a different matter to come in everyday and get business done with them.

I am sooooooooooo thankful that some of the other girls in the office are cool as fvck and are always completely chill to balance it out.

There have already been many sparks that could have blown into a full-on cat fight, but I am sure at this pace it will not be long before there is one...

Any thoughts?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Working in an office with a lot of women has taught me a lot about women in general. I used to think women were something special, but I don't anymore. There is nothing uniquely special about their gender; they are NASTY to each other in the office. It can be really shocking what they do.

Actually, this experience has been good for me; their halo has slipped and fallen and I'm not so blind to the innate character of a lot of women these days. It also helps me appreciate and recognize the really sweet girl too.

thx - I want to keep hard liq's and rocks in our kitchen. When the fight happens, and it will, I should have just enough time to make a drink before I grab a spot ringside...

I have one word for you......CHOCOLATES!

*Get a plastic bowl and fill it with individually wrapped "Dove" or "Bliss" chocolates. (Both quite inexpensive, yet tasty!)

*Put it on your desk in plain sight.

This will make the women MUCH easier to deal with! They will actually SMILE when they come to your desk!
