"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Hi guys

Just a quick one I thought I'd bring to your attention. Met a girl just after NYE, gained number and began some limited text conversation. At her initiation, much of the conversation rapidly became sexual, with her sending pics whilst in bath/underwear etc.

Arranged date last week, went out, both enjoyed, kissed/groped etc, but didn't feel like taking her home or pursueing that night. She initiates second date for next week, and also begins more heated sex conversations which I didn't rise to/spoil challenge etc.

I then get the following message one night;

''I know this is me doing a complete 180, but I want to stop talking about the whole sex thing and concentrate on dating, going out, getting to know eachother.....I don't want to look like a complete psycho, but I'm worth more than that and I want some romance! I know we only had our first date, and I'm leaving love until later on, but for now I need you to understand how I feel''

That was earlier on, mid text sex conversation, which again she had initiated...

Not really sure how or if I should respond to this lol

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I wouldn't respond to it. It's just a typical anti-s1ut defense.

She sees that Date#2 is building up towards sex. And she realizes that she's not putting up enough of a challenge.

So, I wouldn't directly respond to her comment. Don't apologize. Don't even acknowledge it. Just keep the conversation moving to a different topic, and then once you're on an actual date, go for the kill.

Her actions up until this point have indicated that she wants to bang. Don't let some stupid text change your mind.

Also...stop texting so much. You know the old saying..."Absence makes the heart grow fond." With all this texting, I can't imagine that you're absent enough to make her grow fond.

I'm going to give you the silver linings, cause there will be enough guys on here telling you to NEXT, at least she knows she's being a flip flopper.

We're all pretty changeable, and this girl may have just changed her mind about what she wants. (Maybe because, after the first date, she realized she's really interested in you and wants to be more than just an f-buddy). In which case, kudos to her for actually communicating and using her big girl words.

Sure, of course, it could be a game. A power play of some kind to see if she can withhold sex to manipulate you into a relationship, but I personally feel like it's too early to say.

My vote would be to roll with it, go on some dates and figure out if she's on the level or if she's psycho. Just too early to tell.

Verdict: Proceed with caution?
