"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi,

I read somewhere on a fitness forum something about eating oatmeal to help building muscle. Great I thought, since I knew where to get that :D

Anyway, I was wondering, is this true, if so, what do you suggest ? Quantities etc.. ? I'm 5'9 or so, and weigh 70kg.

I ate a bowl this morning, and damn, it sure kicks hunger's ass.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

No way, it doesn't build muscle. However, most bodybuilders eat it in their daily diet.

Here's something i found doing a quick search in google using "oatmeal" "muscle" and "diet."

CARBOHYDRATES

FACT: Carbohydrates are used as energy for your body.

Like protein, ALL CARBS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL.

Think of carbs as fuel for a fire (wood). Some carbs burn very quickly, like paper. Other carbs burn slowly and for longer duration, like hard wood (oak). Just like any other machine, we need different types of fuel for starting, maintaining, or stoking our fire.

Here’s the technical mumbo-jumbo: The GLYCEMIC INDEX (G/I) is a number scale that ranks foods according to the way they affect your blood sugar levels. High glycemic index foods elevate INSULIN levels quickly and severely. Trust me, BIG DADDY INSULIN is a powerful force.

Insulin controls energy functions in our body. That means fat burning, hunger, fatigue, and solid, steady energy levels are a result of insulin activity.

We can use different types of carbs to our advantage. Let’s go back to our campfire. To start the fire, we need quick burning fuel (paper). On the glycemic index, this equates to high G/I foods. Some of the highest are bagels, carrots, and white rice. These foods tend to give us quick energy but they also make us "crash" early. They create insulin spikes. These spikes are not bad if you know they’re coming and provide an extended energy source also.

Our fire needs hard wood to keep it burning, so we need low G/I carbs to keep us going throughout the day or to help us make it through an intense workout. Some good examples are oatmeal, grapefruit, or yogurt.

There are certain times of the day when your energy stores are low so energy storage is maximized and fat storage is minimized. These times are after waking up (post 8-hour fast) and after working out (aerobics or weight lifting). These are the perfect times to load up 40-50 medium-high carbs. Big Daddy Insulin will use carbs very efficiently at these times, restoring energy reserves and preparing for our next stressful event (work-out or another 8-10 hour fast).

you have to eat it with loads of milk eh, otherwise you kinda get constipated (at least that's what my grandmother told me). eat it with milk, warm it up first of course.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

He was a rough tough cowboy. He said it makes you more of a man.

He did this till he was 115.

Anyway we had him cremated...

Oh yeah funny thing is he always said he'd go out in a big bang.
He sure did... He took out two rooms and the whole cremater.

lol @ grandpa

stormwriter - you also forget that oatmeal is 9% proteins, so it does build muscle

If horses can eat oat only and look like they look, it probably can build some muscle ;)

But of course you'd wanna supplement that with some other protein source
