Nylon Lifting Straps

Has anyone ever used lifting straps like this? Are they good? Are they easy to use? Are they as effective as ones not sewn like that?

My goal is to get a pair that's nylon (not cotton) and doesn't have the awkward loop sewn into it.

I use canvas lifting straps. I don't use them much though.

The kind that have a loop at one end.

edit: I know its nice. Canvas is another material option.
