NYC Turns the Tables on Women?

I've been living in NYC for about half a year now. A female friend of mine moved here shortly after I did. Known her for about 5 years...cute girl, I wanted to bang her for the first month I knew her, until I found out she was bat-sh*t crazy. However, she ended up being a good drinking buddy and wingwoman.

So I look at Facebook an hour ago, and I see her post:

Women warned me about "dating" in New York, and you all were right. So far one guy barely looked at me the entire date and, tonight a DIFFERENT guy refuses to pick a place or time...after 48 hours of talking about it. What the f**k.

Then, the rest of her sheep-like female friends chime in with "Nyc has a 3 to 1 male/female ratio. So all the men there live a Peter Pan lifestyle of never settling down, etc, etc.

This girl has dumped her fair share of "nice guys". It's the rock musician, hipster artist bad boys that give her fits....Because they don't have to commit to her crazy azz. Plus, while she WAS hot at 30....she's 35 now....and she looks like she's 40. Not aging well at all.

I figured I'd share this with you guys because just like sosuave is full of men complaining about girl problems, there are plenty of women b*tching about dudes screwing them over.

saying a bat **** crazy used to be hot but not any longer woman who is 35 years old and trying to date in NYC but can't do so succssfully, has real problems just like we do is like saying that a first round draft pick NFL QB who signed a 10 year 80 million dollar contract, played all 10 years and within 3 years of being retired is bankrupt has financial problems just like we do..

I'm quire sure that she does have problems. i just don't give a **** if i can be 100% honest. Becuase for the vast mamroity of her life she has had every possible fvcking advantage known to the human race thrown at her and has not been able to cash in on it to make sure she is settled / set for the rest of her life while the vast majority of us men were still trying ot make a name for ourselves, and had to deal with these prissy hot fickle women. i just dont' care nor should I.

the smart women, know that gravity will start to do it's thing around the age of 30 and it would be wise to cash in before then. if she is too dumb to do that, that's not my problem.

like the girl that brought me here, i talk about her some times and while she had her issues, she was smart enough to know to cash in her chips when they were the highest. she got out the game at age 25. smart smart smart. all her friends were still partying and drugging and fvcking musicans and druggies and living it up she laughed and took her wedding ring and now all of them pushing 30 and single lol.

the funny thing is i don't even think, no i know lol she doesn't even particalrly love her husband. she just looked at the surrounding men at the time and picked the one that at that time was her best optoin and said fvck it let's do this.

Hah, don't get me wrong. Her problems are completely self-inflicted. She chose the path of being crazy, partying, and smoking. And now that she's on the declining side of her 30's, she wants the same "bad boys" she could get at 25.....except she ALSO wants them to settle down.

Hey, these guys will be happy to climb into her bed and plow her out for a night. They ain't gonna settle down for some rapidly-aging 35 year old with mental issues.

I don't expect her to understand the logic of why I find this humorous. But I saw her posting and thought, "Wait a minute...I saw you dump perfectly cool dudes with good careers to date musicians who live in vans. But it's the MEN who are at fault for your position in life?"

This is classic female blame-deflection, but I had to share.

If women's options dry up in their 30s (or whenever), why are they the ones who almost always initiate divorce? Aren't they screwing themselves? I know my ex-wife screwed herself when she divorced me.

My guess at the answer:
So they can play the victim. And also because of the short term temptation of the cash and prizes they get if they divorce. Long term though, they're often fvcking themselves.

Iceberg, your stat is a little misleading. A 3-1 male/female ratio sounds like there are three men to every woman. I was like "why would they be b!tching about that?". But in reality, single women outnumber single men in NY, it's just not by 3-1.

I was out in a group with this attractive 30-sth woman the other night. She's been single for a while and struggles to get a good date, or so she says. I don't know her all that well, but I overheard enough of the convo to realise that she's way too picky for her own good. Some of the guys she rejected sound fine to me, but to her they aren't artsy and smooth enough.

Half way into the night, we were walking pass a group of hot young babes with killer legs. Every guy in our group quietly checks them out, and Ms 30-sth noticed. She blurted out "I can't compete with that!" lolz

End of the night, pretty much out of nowhere and without me running any game on her at all, she just said something like "I should give you my number", and so I have it. Don't think I'll bother though, she lives too far away.

They know the stories, but their solipsism would tell them "it won't happen to me" or "they ain't talkin' 'bout me!"

I personally loathe white knights/classic betas with the fiery passion of 10 suns and I dont even have to live with one. Could you imagine spending more than a solid hour with one of these pathetic kunts?

I have to completely disagree with that. I know too many "AFCs" who are still married and too many good men whose wives divorced them. You're saying all (or at least most) of the blame falls on the men. I think it has more to do with the fickle nature of women and their inability to live up to their commitments. A lot more.

I remember my older sister was married to a very cool guy, hard working, and a good father. But after a few years, she found somebody who excited her more (and made more money), and she divorced my former brother in law, whom I considered part of the family. That was an early eye opener for me.

Sure but women very rarely will risk swinging to a branch they perceive as being less than what they already have. Just something to think about.

I blame AFC's for almost every social problem men and boys face today, they are the reason men now have next to no parental rights, zero reproductive rights, are taken to the cleaners through our biased court system, boys dropping out of school in numbers never seen before, they are the reason men now are portrayed through the mainstream media, through anywhere really as bumbling bufoons who cannot do anything right without the guidance of a wise and do no wrong woman who must bring him into line like a subordinate teen.

I could go on but it's too phuckin depressing.

The fickle nature of women doesn't even get a look in imho, has nothing to do with anything. In a perfect world the fickleness of women would be nothing more than something to be laughed at while you slap her on the ass and tell her to go put dinner on. The root of the problem lies elsewhere.

Yep. I am Australian living in NYC and I can confirm NYC is the great equalizer. The city is full of desperate women and guys rule (until they get married and women get the protection of the law)
