Numbers game

All right everyone please bear with me for a bit, this is the first thread I’m starting ever.

I keep reading in the bible and in the forums that rejection is all a numbers game and that AFC behaviors will not help you out at all. This eventually lead me to some math I did when trying to get my statistics formulas down pat. I decided to guess how many ladies I’d asked out in the last few years – roughly 30. Out of that I had only one success. So a 1/30 chance of getting a girl based on past behavior.

Now I decided let’s see how this works out in some settings, with about 25 girls around and 1/30 chance of success, the probability of getting the first girl to say yes to you is roughly 0.2%. Now just quitting at this point is typical AFC actions but let’s say for once in the AFC’s life that they don’t give a fvck.

Trying again up to 10 girls out we get 90.2% chance of getting a yes from all 10.

This may not be exactly how things work out in the real world but the important message here is that you shouldn’t give up.

I am a trader, so what I do all day is a "numbers game". The key is to have an edge. when I make a trade, the more confirming signals I can get, the higher my win rate. If I can get a nice big smile from a woman before I approach her, my odds of getting her number just went up dramatically. If I am on a date with a woman I just recently met and I am getting some good vibes, I like to get a little bit aggressive and show her that I am a guy who is not afraid to take what he wants. This usually seems to raise their IL a notch or 2.

The bottom line is that my approach and actions are either increasing or decreasing my odds of success.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it really trying to say is that if at first you don't succed try try again. You're chances get better with each attempt, and with the added experience.

Yes most importantly learn to have fun with it just be yourself.... When you go with the flow and this becomes second nature you WILL be the confidence you have so long tried to mask , and when this happens all will work out

It's all a matter of letting loose and having fun
